Ushers at Brighter Way Baptist Church are dedicated to creating a welcoming, orderly, and safe environment for all who enter God’s house. “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness” (Psalm 84:10, NKJV). Ushers assist with greeting and seating members and visitors, caring for the needs of the pastor during services, and attending to visiting speakers or guests of honor.

     

Ushers also watch over the safety of the congregation, act as the first line of response to medical needs and help direct the giving of offerings. Through their service, ushers embody hospitality and care, helping every person feel welcomed and valued in the Brighter Way community.
